SwimZip, yes please!

Today we had the perfect summer day exploring downtown san diego. We started off at waterfront park where the kiddos splashed and played, while also getting to spend time with daddy since he works right there ;) We then made our way to seaport village (only 1 mile away) where we rode the carousel, ate ice cream and enjoyed a few shops. Now we are home, and the kiddos are napping away--which is how I can write this post ;)

But, back to the waterfront park part. We recently received a few SwimZip pieces in the mail. If you watch shark tank than this name and company should sound quite familiar. SwimZip is the UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) 50+
clothing brand people trust to keep themselves and their children sun safe. So of course we wanted to try them
out, plus Betsy (the owner) is an inspiring mama who has grown this company...bonus!

We got two suits from them: mint chip and ruffle me pretty plus two adorable sun hats. Today we tested out the mint chip one, and I must say I was SO happy with this product. Not only was it super cute, easy to put on and take off, but it is also keeping my babe sun safe. If I have to be honest, I think the product is even cuter in person than it shows on their website :)
Everly's hat is also from SwimZip. People complimented us left and right on this cute and functional accessory. It was a
touch big (we ordered the medium) so I did my little trick of putting a headband under to hold it up which totally works! She will grow into it in no time though.

Everly is 19 months old and I ordered her the size 18-24 months in both suits. They are a touch big, but this way shewill get plenty of use in them. Plus with this fabric, a little loose or tight doesn't matter!

Here are some pics from today. Oh and if you have some free time head on over to SwimZip and check their products out...
